It's a shame I've got all this perfectly cut and terminated wire laying around and nobody is using it... here's how this works.

Pop your hood, and guestimate the lengths of the follow 3 cables:

1. Alt output to battery positive.

2. Battery negative to chassis.

3. Chassis to engine block.

An easy way to get a close measurement is to take a small piece of string or wire and lay it where the wire will go. Cut it with a pair of scissors to the length you need it to be. Do this once for each of the three cables above, and measure their length in inches.

Once you know the lengths you need, refer to the list at the bottom of this post and find the closest cable that will work for your installation. If you are in doubt, go with the next size up cable because you can always route the cable another way and tie it up out of the way. Some cars can be done for $25 or less plus a little bit of your time... some cars will take more.

i got the same civic as ameuba. what do i need and how much shipped to 06716???

Anyone know the lengths for an 04 Dodge Ram with a Hemi? I could use a Big 3 kit.

Since it's a pretty big truck, I'd probably go with a few of the 54" pieces if you dont want to take the time to measure it out.

He used 1 - 34", 1 - 16", 1 - 18.5", and 1 - 48". I dont have anymore 16" or 18.5", but you could swap them for two 24.5" pieces and I could do $43 shipped.

Upgrading the current flow of your factory electrical system is kinda like upgrading the exhuast on your car. By making the current path bigger and less resistive, you can increase the amount of power delivered to your audio system. ie. it makes it louder!
