You guys don’t know what the hell you’re talking about

You won’t ever find short cuts in any of my installs

I have been building this type of set ups for over 20 years

For your information I have actually fiber glassed several, several others

Made absolutely no difference in sound or performance, only cost, time and smell

I’m just sick of all the uninformed, unqualified attack dogs

The type of people that would tell Tiger woods how to swing a golf club

Or tell God how to create the universe

Just because they think they know something about everything

And it was not a personally shot at your craftmanship, ive seen plenty of your builds over the years, (and read about several of them too, long before the "internet" was popular). I was just making the suggestion about fiberglassing that panel since it was a wall of the sub enclosure.

I gave you a positive comment, as i have in previous build threads you have posted, because, I know how good of a installer you are. I just had a opinion about that box, I might be right, I might be wrong.

It doesnt really matter in the long run, as long as the customer's happy, thats all that matters, correct?

Otherwise, again, very nice build.

Sorry for pop-n off like I did, I do apologize for my rudeness; I should have explained my self better, in stead of mouthing off like I accused other of doing

I can be trusted normally

I have experimented with similar designs like this for quite some time, using all types of factory spaces and surfaces when needed, when other options are limited

There are situation they do require additional methods and materials; this was not one

I have glassed in many other similar set-ups (with extreme power requirement or lower quality factory surface)

I have duplicated a few builds in the exact same vehicles, and subs with and with-out the glass work, with no real sound difference. However I do admit in some applications and situation reinforced glass work can be required. Just not this one.

Look at the factory floor, how it is heavily corrugated with all those humps. The floor is very strong and ridged

I hope I have clarified my position with out offending anyone ells

Touche' my friend, and I def understand where you are coming from. It can get a little fustrating to take shots for you hard work, esp when those shots come without a clear explanation. You have done this far more times then I lol, so im positive you know what your doing.

Besides, you were doing Hi end Installs when I was still in HS. I still have the lowrider magazine from 95" (I believe) with the build you did for Profile around here somewhere.
