anybody have any idea what those back vents are used for? Don't know if I should leave them in or take them out for deadening on my truck.

Those vents are air releases so you can close your doors easily. I would just cover them with some duct tape and cardboard and then deaden over them. yeah that's what I thought. I can hear them opening and closing if you turn the heat/air fan on and multiplies road noise like no other. lol.
