Had to trade in my 2011' Charger R/T due to financial issues, so I got this black on black 07 grand marquis. this will make #3 since ive been driving. First car was a 95, Moms got an 05..Figured they are tanks of cars and run for forever and for the price it was the best thing for me at the time. Build will be a lil slow due to gettin back on my feet from being unemployed for 3 months.

First thing to go was the factory radio, Harness wired up and relay ready for remote wires

The decided to lay the rest of the deadener I had in the garage on the rear deck so I could install the Rockford Pro Mids

Then made templates for the mids

Very snug fit

I got this car, Did the same **** with deadner except 2x layers of RAAMAT Bxt II in the trunk, all doors and the same spot you did. I also did some work in the rear deck tried doing a blow thru but too lazy so I just deleted the speakers and ported the rear deck removed carpet and ****

For any real spl out of those trunks you may as well not use any rear fill, i learned the hard way by destroying some nice speakers.

I also have towncar leather seats so I have the fold down armrest and cut thru the fabric and that lets alot of air thru as well

Throw a double din in there bra.. Im jealous because I cant fit a double din in mine.

Best thing about these cars is the easyness of everything... running wire takes 15 minutes, alternator swap in less then 5, big 3 short as hell and probly 10 minutes

At this point I had a Pioneer8600mp, Modded MTX 1501d, 3 12" MTX 8000's, Fosgate 800.4, Bostons up front and fosgate 3 ways in back. 20's, 99 Towncar Buckets which then turned into 03 Marquis leather benches and 5% tint.

I deadned to F out of that car. It was kinda hard to get it loud, i kept the rear fill in though.

This car will be for daily and ground pounding. No numbers. I may cutout a portion of the rear deck but gotta keep the middle seat belt and stuff. Got kids. I'll be putting a 18" nightshade in for now when I recone it. Then may design a 4th or something

Nightshade is gone. Picked up 2 MINT Audioque HDC3 15's that will be in the new build. Much thanks to 04Murdalanche for the great swap. Would deff do business with ya again

Soooooo, on the way home from san antonio (3/9/13) with the wife..Some dumb jackass with daddys lifted truck decided to run over the front of my car. We were sitting waitin to turn right and he was next to us to go straight, well as soon as the light turns green he decides to take a right turn directly over the front of my car. Thankfully the wife and i were not hurt. but car is hurt. possible front frame damage as well as other stuff. Pics are a lil blurry cause i was FURIOUS and shaky. This happend in Luling, Tx so i had to pull the rest of the bumper off the car, cram it in my trunk and drive back to houston. Deff not an enjoyable ride lol

hey man had it been any other car you were driving you'd have no front left, bout 2 months ago I has getting the inspection sticker on my 89 Lincoln, at the stop light a 2012 Malibu slammed into me, hardly felt the hit, but dam poor Malibu, couldn't drive it, he called a tow and top it off guy had no insurance, since my car didn't get a scratch I just forgot about it and drove off and wished him the best of luck

Yea one reason i love the marquis. They are built very strong. Just blows cause ill always know its been damaged and bugs the hell out of me. Should hopefully hear back from the other insurance company in the next few days about whos covering it. I may see if which ever shop thats gunna fix it can just repaint the whole car to freshen it up. Maybe that will make me feel a little better
