Ok so I've got a 2007 Nissan Fronteir king cab that I'd like to improve the sq of. Right now I've installed my Alpine 9833 out of my last car because I like the stereo for one and for another I was going crazy without my satellite radio. Well now I've got a nice stereo but some pretty awful sounding speakers. I've got some component speakers for the front and some good speakers for the rear doors waiting to be installed this weekend but eventually I'd like to install a sub. So far it looks like the aftermarket enclosure builders are ignoring the king cab Nissans so it looks like I'm going to have to build it myself which is no big deal since I've built plenty of them before but all the one's I've built before have been mostly for spl, I've never really strictly designed one for sq. I'm thinking of a enclosure for one 10" that would sit in the middle between those two tiny seats I've got in the back. I was thinking of a design that if viewed from the outside of the truck would look kind of like a arm rest for the rear seats, the sub would be firing straight down so it would not be in view. Obviously it would have to sit up off of the floor a little bit in order for the speaker to breath. Has anyone here ever tried an encloser like this and if so how did it work. If anybody has any other ideas for a single 10" that are pretty stealthy and sound good please let me know I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks
