07 Dodge Ram Quad Cab

Guys I need an answer to an age old question. What sub will give the best bass response all the way around in the limited space of a Dodge Ram Quad cab. I don’t want to remove the back seat or do something extreme but i do want something that will turn a head when I turn it up. Any suggestions? I currently have some CVRs and am not satisfied. But that is the only thing the sound shops in my area recommend besides the IDQ10....

either 2 icons, 2 mach 5 ixl's, or 2 Q's, if someone else wants to chime in with other subs that sound good and get decently loud in sealed boxed be my quest. all 3 subs mentioned take 1000w each all day

The ID's are a good idea as well as the ED sub below or the next model up which handles more power. You want a sub that works well in a smaller box with not too much mounting depth. The Boston below subs would work great or one of the other models.

Chech out Fox Acoustics box. I have one and am very satified. I have 10 CVRS in it. Cheaper than the box your looking at.

Got kids to drag around during the week my man cant take the seat out! wish i could though I box the box in the fall when i bought the truck because that was actually the first one that i saw that was not the cheap .57/.66 cft prefab box i kept seeing. Ill read up on the subs recomended. if anyone else has other recomendations i would appreciate it.

the 2 icons or the 2 mach 5 ixl's dont look like they would manage too well in an under the seat box. the ED sub peaks my interest a lil..

Well the IDQ actually is a good choice for a small enclosure situation. IDQ's were, in many ways, the original small box sub... even though the old round solobarics get all the credit for it.

Thats what i have heard. i see kicker is planning to come out with a solo classic but date of sale yet. if i dont try the ed line i will go with the idqs

go with a center console box, its what im doing and should fit your situation nicely. heres a thread from over at diyma that has a LOT of good information in it. i personally will be putting a dc level 4 10 in mine
