5Zigen's...nice. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
The older Mark's did. The MkV has a four-link rear suspension.

To snb- The R32 is in Europe and Canada currently. It will be awhile before it's here.

maybe just like an 07 model...cause my friend just got one. I ride in it every day.

Well that's cool but its outta my price range. If I get the GTI, it will be faster than the R32 anyways. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif Bump.

You can't go wrong with either!

I'm a VW fan, but those VTEC engines are nasty! Throw some webber sidedrafts on that thing and the sound alone would be worth having the car!

Those new 2.0t's are awesome awesome engines, tho. The torque is so unnatural, yet amazingly driveable. It's like having a diesel that can rev to 6k. They're also underrated from the factory. Most of them put down 200-210hp to the wheels right out of the box, so estimated 220-225hp brake from the factory. And if aftermarket support is anywhere near with the 1.8t's, there'll be some 4-500hp 2.0t's soon.

In all fairness, tho, there's a reason cars don't come with aftermarket parts from the factory, as soon as you start modding either car, you're gonna get marginally fewer miles out of the engine before rebuild, and you're going to have more problems. So if you need the car to last a while, i'd go with whichever you like driving more without mods. Don't choose based on them.

Mods I'll do are: APR ECU, 2.5" DP and full 2.5" catback, new IC, wheels/rubber, of course audio, and maybe a larger turbo on GTI.
Si= catback, wheels/rubber, audio, Hondata

I want the GTI more though.

youre one lucky *****!! i want the SI so bad im even looking for a job to get one. dude, the SI is only 20 G'z, comes with LSD, comes with the K20 motor (which the RSX comes with; and the RSX is supposedly the fastest non-aspirated stock car out); the SI is car and drivers car of the year.. or i think it was road and driver.. i forget which magazine but it was a very credible one. i also like the look of the SI. the gti is not my cup of tea at all.. the front-end looks weird for a hatch i'd rather have an old civic hatch body with the gti engine.. or i'd take an SI over it ANY day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.. IF YOU PICK A GTI OVER THE SI I WILL HATE YOU YES I WILL HATE YOU. the SI is HOT man... you don't see SI's everywhere you go neither.. in fact, ive only seen one and it was at bear mountain in the snow. GET THE SI.

the last SI (the hatchback body) was horrible for the price.. this new SI is the shiznit. trust me. every honda-head will tell you this SI is a great deal... you wont regret getting one for the price.. people are saying its a lot better buy than going with an RSX.

i dont disagree, i was just commenting on the engine block of the last one i recall. if i was in the market for a fwd car i might consider it. The mini cooper s has my fancy above all other fwd cars at the moment, yesterday i rode in one, they pull like a slave.

Truth be told i doubt i'll ever buy another fwd car again. I had ~300whp running from my accord when it was turboed and it was simply way too much. RWD has much more flexability and imo is much more fun to drive. not to mention the options are near endless.

2.oTurbo

Chip, intake, turboback exhaust, FMIC = ~275hp and ~320 lb/tq

that is my guess. Revo makes a chip that claims 260hp 300lb/tq alone. do it. i love my mark IV 1.8T, its revo'd with a DP and exhaust, intake...its pretty quick.

mark IV wtf

MK IV

MKV.

I messed up on the poll and put IV but I meant V.
