h22 was quite nice stock, ~190 hp to the wheels and it would skoot very nicely. also very easy to install. wireing vtech wasn't too bad either. what year and model is yours? im assuming not an ex

94 LX 2 door 5 speed.

Even fliping through the gears most cars can smoke it.

I think it needs a new 02 sensor though

mine was a two door lx, but it was very strange. for example no factory lx's were supposed to come with disc brakes, but mine did. the wiring was slightly different and a whole lot of other shit. even stock i could take just about any civic si out. i used to call it the mutant before i changed everything over. right now im trying to track down the owner and buy it back because im sure i can get it for dirt cheap

oh and fix the o2 sensor if nothing else for mileage, also check the egr valve as those go shitty easy

OK ladies since you have gotten off onto H22's and B18's I will take it back to the topic. Besides that, the quickest out of those two locally that I have seen, was an H23A in a CB7. Low 12's. Forgot the numbers but it was a quick one.

My dad has agreed to go look into the GTI. SO hopefully I can order that. Even though the car is a gift, I already told him I'll drop what I can on it to order the GTI.
