'06 Si vs '06 GTI

No questions asked what would you buy? Yes I have an '06 Si on it's way but I've been eye-balling that Mark V for a long time and it's only literally 1K more so I could possibly get that.

I love the Si. Everything about it is good.

The Mark V- I like the fact that it's turbo'd stock cuz I could mod the GTI easier with lot less money. Since VW is Audi it's just like a cheap Audi. But yeah. Just an idea...tell me what you think...

On 1/4 mi times the Si is supposed to beat the GTI by .2 but since it's turbo'd stock get more gains out of every mod. I want either car to be running low 13's. I don't care about going any quicker than low 13's really. Yeah it'd be cool to run lik 11's but I don't really care about that.

scion faster than an Si??? LOL sorry, ain't happening. tc's can't even run the 1/4 in less than 15 seconds let alone post a 90+ mph trap...

have fun getting them inot the low thirteens....i would take the gti...own a civic and am sick of seeing everyone have one...if you get the gti get the dsg with launch control...id take the gti...road and track agrees

Si will have a much bigger aftermarket. Throw a turbo on it and it'll be in 13's easily probably 12's.

The new SI's come with the K20A3's?
