06 ram kenwood xxv 05v & surround sound

Ok i have a question. I just had a kenwood xxv 05v dvd head unit installed into my truck. also i had them put in rockford fosgate 6x9's in the front doors and mb quarts in the rear doors. The mb quarts fit better than the rockfords so thats why we went with mb in the back and rockfords in the front. Now my truck has the infinity sound system with 7 speakers. One is a center channel. The XXV 05V has surround sound decoding built in and i asked the installers to utilize that speaker as a center channel. Come to find out i thought they were going to replace it but they didn't. Now i have this problem. The rest of the speakers sound awsome but when i put a dvd with surround sound on it i get almost no sound from the center channel. I can't hear nothing out of it but the others are loud. And the center channel is usually the main talk and sound comming from the dvd. Is there a fix around this to make it sound better.

My setup also includes a rockford fosgate 450.4 4 channel amp running all the components. I don't think the center channel is hooked up to the amp. Can someone help me out with this and try to get some more sound from it or make it sound better. Also the system is in mono right now and not stereo because of a bad rca cable, they are going to replace it soon here, would this be causing the center channel to sound as bad as it does. any help would be appreciated.
