iVtec kicks in at 5800. Eh....Stock Si's usually dyno at around 176-180 whp. I plan to make 260-280 whp.

I'm just tellin ya what I've seen them dyno at. Our club has hosted quite a few dyno days. I've seen them dyno stock and with a few bolt-ons. My friends with the catless header, intake, and skunk2 exhaust dyno'd 205 whp. The stock ones were doing 190-195. This was on a dynojet.

I have a blue LX 06 with 55k miles on it, manual and love it. It does wonderful on gas. Right now with gas prices it costs 20 dollars to fill up and lasts almost 2 weeks. when gas prices are out the rough it costs 45 dollars which still isn't horrible. they are fun little cars to drive and I love mine. Has plenty of head/leg room and I'm 6'3". Plus I like that you can adjust the steering wheel not only tilting but pulling it towards you. That was pretty cool. I've driven my buddies si and man those cares are so much fun. I wish mine was an Si.

Yea umm about that lol, last tank was $130 for me and that was at cheap prices compared to a good 6-7 months ago (paid $180 once for a single tank of fuel 38gallons.) Tank will get me 500 miles which is about a week. Still toying with the idea of getting a commuter. I love my truck and would hate to sell it for something else and love driving it but I could deal with having a secondary vehicle I could use for the usual commute and let me put my truck down for longer than a weekend if need be.

28-31 mpg If I don't vtec everywhere.

That ain't too bad at all.

I have an 06 Si. About 38k miles with no problems. Very little torque, but it gets pretty peppy after 4,500rpm. I have an AVIC-D2 (r.i.p.) in it and the kits makes it look very nice. Nice and roomy. Black interior is very nice. I have a 2.75ft^3 box in the trunk and I still have room to throw groceries or my gym bag in there. All in all a good car. When they first came out there were places trying to sell them for $30k after markup.

I like the EK series: 1996 - 2000. A friend of mine who is a mechanic said that the EK was WAY better than the one that followed it (2001-200x). Also, with regards to being quiet, one of my installer buddies said that the current generation of Civic is the most quiet one out there. Hmm, I wonder why I am so fond of the EK series? Test drove the EX and SI.

SI was a dream, handled well, was quick and smooth on shifting and cornered very nicely.

The EX was nice as well, but very slow compared to the SI or a lot of other cars IMO around the same HP.

I ended up with a Focus ST, because I got it in my payment and drives a lot better than the EX in every aspect, but not the SI.

Now I can beat the SI's, but did some after-marker engine mods, but for factory the SI's are very nice. Would love to get one, but was out of my price range at the time.

My cousin bought a sedan this fall. I didn't like driving it. Far too cramped for me, and I'm pretty short. The windshield is too raked. The coupe might be different since you don't have to squeeze a full back seat in there

I bought an 08 si new about a year ago for 20k...My only complaints are the shitty paint job and the rev hang...Responds to mods well.
