03 impala ls installing amp and subs on factory head unt

PLEASE HELP i dont know much and i have to ask people at my work to help me out.. i i hav eht power wire ran to the batteryi have an 03 impala and somdbody told me its not getting power becuase theres somethign on the battery i need to take off it was getting dark at this point and i couln't really tell considering how far down its anywhoo i also need a good place to ground this wire in the back of my impala im wiring from one of those kits that gof rom the back speaker wire to rca outs.... also where do i put that remote wire??? please help it would be much appreciated thank you!!

well i have a 2003 impala...and have no idea what your talking about...lol...

your power wire have a fuse close to the battery? is your power wire connected at all to the battery? are you keeping factory cd player? tell me more tomorrow take pics and up load them...make sure you have your power wire connected with a terminal please i can help

For the power wire, it should be wired directly to the battery, not the fuse box or anything like that.

For the ground, if you can find something in the trunk that is bolted directly to metal, that should be okay. Make sure you use sandpaper to sand down to bare metal, past the paint. If not, just drill a hole and use a bolt.

For the remote wire, one option is to find a fuse in the fuse box that is only live when the ignition is on, and wire it to that.

awesoem i figured it was something simple and stupid like that ima go check that right now b4 werk i think it might b paint over my ground however i have no clue where to run this remote cable i can to fuse box?? i really appreciate how fast everybody responded and how helpful ur being these are pretty pathetic questions lol

be sure to grind the ground and also....run the remote wire to a fuse that only turns on when the car is on....you will be able to tell. hope u get it working

ur cigg. lighter fuse would work
