03 focus zx3, 33k miles, 7.5k , yay or nay?

those do not come with AC, ive already checked into them... and the 6.8k is below retail value in edmunds and kbb... but yes it is still high compared to privet seller //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

its just the tag's, title, and tax that raise it up to 7.5 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif ... im not really wanting to spend more than 7k to keep my payments below $150 ... ive been in about 4-5 accidents and my insurance on this car is going to be more than the monthly payments //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif but still very affordable in my budget...

i dunno, im wanting a zx3 because i could easily throw in a very nice audio system, deaden the hell out of it and swap out the alternator and have a very nice daily beater for a couple years...

what would be some other cars i could look into around the 7-8k price range that are decently low miles and somewhat newer? ive been to nearly every dealership in town and the closest thing i could find was some lame kia's and suzuki's which im not a fan of whatsoever...

I have an ST and wouldn't waste my time on the regular Focus'.

Will say, they are easy to work on and decent on gas.

the SVT's go for around $8K around these parts. Bone stock models are around $5K

ive been searching through auto trader, ebay, local classifides, and craigslist and its hard tryin to find a decent low mileage vehicle for less than 10k...

i put in the focus through nada, edmunds, and kbb they came at around that price...

Well, will save you on gas and will last if you take care of it. I say get it and drive it for a couple years.

I love my Focus ST, but I need something bigger to haul the family around. I may keep my car and get my wife something as her car is over 175,000 miles now. She needs something new and soon. More money I didn't want to spend!

I don't know exact prices but have you looked at Corollas? They start about 14k with some options so you may be able to find something around 7k or so with not to bad of miles.

You probably won't find one with 30k but I would take a 50k Toyota over a Ford with 30k on it any day of the week.

for a few grand more, i dunno about $3K more I will sell you my 2007 HHR, 9800miles. I own it with no liens so there would be no issues transfering titles. I have my eye on a HHR SS.

if your paying with cash offer them $6k they will probably take it

my car was priced at $13k when i bought it, i offered $10k cash for it and was declined after he "spoke to the manager" so i gave him my number and told him to call me if he reconsidered. i wasnt even a mile away by the time he called
