02 Impala needs a stock CD player? Please read

My fiance has an 02 Impala, but it has the stock tape player in it. She wants a CD player in there, and would just want the stock one. Can i just swap them out, and still retain the inst. cluster controls from the radio as it has now? (IE the reset oil change light on the dash thats reset from the radio?)

If no, if i replace it with an aftermarket radio, how do i reset the instrument cluster idiot lights?

Also, what years/models would swap with this car if anyone knows?
