I'm about to install a deck in my friends Taurus. I've read around and found that it's a b**ch to install decks in them. Apparently I have to run a set of wires to the trunk? Anyone have a clue what's going on with that.

I'm about to install a deck in my friends Taurus. I've read around and found that it's a b**ch to install decks in them. Apparently I have to run a set of wires to the trunk? Anyone have a clue what's going on with that.

Does the car your doing have the upgarded sound or climate control? If so your starting a fight lol. The wires you would have to run to the trunk should be to hook up your 5k amp and and an 18. Other than that I dunno....

I do however know the ones with climate control have all the controls built in the same dash piece as the radio.. thats what makes it a pain.
