01 Intrepid mods?

Well I drive an 01 Intrepid, and I am looking to doing some mods to it in this up coming Spring/Summer. I want to paint it a different color, and maybe get a body kit, but it all depends on price and where I can get everything. Also was thinking of some tasteful rims.

As for rims, check out eBay and find the style you want. Or you can try, TireRack or DiscountTires. Body kits, I don't know. Paint, you'd have to find a body shop, and ask if you can see their work, who ever has the work you like, providing you like their prices, go with them. They may let you stick around the shop to see what all they do, and to see their process. Please, DO NOT put on a body kit, unless you have actually done a hell of a lot of modifications to the engine. These cars look hideous with body kits IMHO.

ok don't do a pos body kit . as for paint man many ways you can go especially for the interior you can fiberglass the pieces first sand em smooth then paint em or u can just prime em sand em paint em . either way works .

If you're bold you can save a lot of money by finding a friend with a decent spraygun setup.

I did that and after a ton of wetsanding the clear it looks pretty close to professional minus a couple spots. But for like $500, hey, not bad.

Well there is a guy on craigslist around here that says he can do a complete professional paintjob for $600 but I dont know about that at all I would have to see quite a few cars before I would trust it. Yea I was thinking of checking out TireRack they seem to have some decent deals, but I wouldnt shipping be a killer?
