01 Impala, 18" Audio Technix Strato d4

Be careful with only one coil hooked up. Otherwise nice build
Hmm didn't realize anything bad could happen. Haven't really played it much yet but then I'll go wire in series until I can power in parallel properly. Thanks for the comment and for looking out.

So I've gotten my BRZ 1200.1 and installed it a few days back and finally got around to making a video. Here is what it is until now, I still have to finish making the panels to seal off the box from the trunk and to fix my wiring mess but until then enjoy this vid!

how did you make that port?

how did you make that port?
I used a concrete form tube, cut it to the length needed. Made a ring to sit on the outermost edge so I could screw it int the the box, and glued the ring to the tube and added some caulk on the inside. Also wrapped the tube in gorilla tape to allow for a smoother flow of air than the cardboard. I didn't fiberglass because i felt it would have been to much of a hassle to do that. The port seems plenty strong for what it is.

Probably not the most practical thing to do, but hey it works. First time doing this, so if you have any advice on how to probably make it better, I'll gladly take it.

Okay, awesome. I mean, I'd seen the bigger ports being done like but instead of gorilla tape body filler or fiberglass were being used but how I did it seems plenty strong and sturdy. Also, some use a square instead of a ring like I did but due to space available and placement I went with a ring.

That's pretty mean sounding, especially being under 1K.
Thanks! Sounds nice and gets loud. Maybe it's just me but it's louder than any of my previous setups.

Exactly what I was thinking.

and that song sounded insane on my old setup, op. Good choice, lol.
I thought twice and three times about what songs I would play for these videos lol

glad I chose a good one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Also here is another video I took along with the previously posted one and show a bit of woofer excursion towards the end
