Hey guys I'm going to be building a new box for my sub and want to now if i should down fire? rear fire , Up fire or forward ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I have had it rear firing once but didn't like how it sounded. Thanks for any input..

done many systems in my s10. either sub and port forward, or sub and port downfired.

I have taken out the jack already.. Does it make a difference if i put the sub behind the pass driver or in the middle ?

no. it makes no difference, unless you are getting metered for spl.

i have no "system" to speak of right now. i sold most of my subs, and always have something different in there. right now, it's a 175 watt pioneer 10 running off the back channel of an xtant 4 channel.

in this box, it actually sounds pretty good. not overly loud of course, but it hits low and rattles my rearview pretty good. selling it on craigslist.

2 weeks ago, i had this one in there. another low power sub that hit low, and surprised most people. just further proof to me that the box is far more important than the sub itself. 200 watts gets lower and louder than 1000 watts from a flea market.
