I had some Kenwood KFC-1069s's in the front of my old Saab 900 running off HU power with 300Hz bass blockers. For such a cheap and crappy setup, the results were actually pretty surprising.
Phoenix Gold makes a 4" coax in their RSd lineup. Might be worth looking into.
