CDT: EF-61cv VS. EF-61fg

Hi there,

I really dont know which one to choose; 2 different speakers who are kinda the same for me; the EF-61cv and the EF-61fg.

I can get them at 225$ US.

I will run them with a Rockford Fosgate Punch 600w for now, i dont have a big budjet for this year.

I already have an Eurosport 12" as subwoofer.

I'm listening Metal/Hardcore/Emocore, everything with big drums, double pedals drums,electric guitar, and a melodic touch.

Someone can help me?

cv maybe carbon fiber and fg=fiberglass. I would prefer the fiberglass one, thats what im going to get tomorrow with tw-25

Is there a big difference?

My subb is in Fiberglass i guess (Eurosport ES-1200) and i really like it, maybe there's a difference in durability (about Cold weather (Here, in Canada, sometimes it's about -30 celicius in winter!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif ) and RMS power handling)?

The CV (Convertible) mids have a phase plug in the middle that you can take out and attach the tweeter to convert them to a coaxial type speaker.

Better to go with the FG's as they come with a better 1" tweeter and better power handling.

Well, FiberGlass, here i come!

And about the image enchancement, i already have 2 tweeter in my doors (Jetta 2000 with the monsoon sound system), so am i placing the tweeter at the same place? Exemple:

I thought puting 2 tweeters with the Mid speaker but, how? lol
