0 AWG runners enter.....

ya i ran mine on the passenger side. when you take the panels out and pull up the carpet a bit, there are those black plastic things with all the vehicles factory wires running though...i ran my 0 gauge right along with them. took a little while to feed it through, but made for a clean install //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

exactly the same thing i did... considering we have the same car

I had mine like that for a while. No problems.
Nor i, nor is this the first major install in the vehicle, i have never had an issue. Only takes one tho!

4 runs would be noticeable in my Rodeo. 5 runs of eK rcas (unless youve seen them you wouldnt understand) is already showing more than i care.

Most important to me was the fact that i did not want to put as large a hole in my firewall as i put in my rear floorboard.

the hardest part was pulling 18 feet of 0 gauge through a rubber grommet.. that shit was so tight it was like boning a 12 year old. i wouldnt know how its like boning a 12 year old, but you get the sexy picture. i lubed the entire run of 0 gauge with a little grease.. that shit was a mess but oh well it made it that much easier to slide through..

this made me chuckle for awhile

Try running 2 1/0 AWG runs through a rubber grommet only meant for 1! That was like boning a *****, but I did it!

Contrary to popular recommendation, mine IS run outside, and is tucked inside the frame rail. It is no more likely to be damaged than the brake lines its run with.
If I were you I would atleast cover it with wire loom....may last for a year but who knows after that....

On my list of things to do.
You mean the list that will never get done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Ill admit, I have a list like that sometimes....EVENTUALLY I get it done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

My 1/0 is secured to the inside of the frame rails with clips and self tapping screws, and the wire is completely heat shrinked and loomed and elec. tape on holding the loom on every foot or so. Who says wire cant be run under the truck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

I ran my jeeps underneath. From engine to frame, through some metal tubing to the back and up into the cargo area. I covered it in wire loom. No there was no danger for the wire.

Here you see my wire running into my car.

Goes under the carpet and into the back. Cant see it at all after I put the trim piece back

take seats out...run down the middle FTW

It was great, when I ran all my wires in my car now Rav-4... i took the seats out...and the carpet literally just lift up and pulls out....I just plopped everything down at once...RCA's speaker wire, 0 guage...great car for car audio. And the back area behind the seats is flat all the way to the front seats...so if I ever wanted to wall it off, it wouldnt be to hard....no supports from a lower shelf area needed.
