0 awg cable 150a fuse ?

hi guys ,

my current draw from my amplifier is around 250-300a and ı have 0 awg power cable , ıf ı put 150a fuse to this 0 awg cable , it will ok ? will be some disadvantages ?

I may be reading something wrong but if your amp current draw is 250+ amp how do you expect the 150a fuse to last? It will blow pretty quickly if you don't keep the draw low. Nothing dangerous or anything. It is just a waste of fuses which equal money.

It depends on the wire rating. From what I've learned, you fuse the wire according to the wire, not the fuse(s) size of the amp.
