The reason Focal does this is for staggered multi-amp configurations where you're actually using two different amplifiers with different output power, say 150x2 for the midbass and 75x2 for the mid/tweeter setup.

You would benefit more from running the 4-channel amp in bridged mode and feeding the two sides a straight 300x2 instead; let the crossover distribute the power.

Seriously, this will provide you with a much better outcome.

For the version I suggested you would have to use Y splitters for the RCA in on the amp for the stereo effect. If you are just waiting to get a DSP, absolutely I would simplify the install like Dox suggested.
