Does anyone have experience with Sonic Electronix and/or their extended warranty?

I have bought quite a few items from them. I only had to return one thing, and it was pretty stress free. Just make sure you package it up really tight. Amps are heavy and like to move around a lot.

Under natural conditions. They don’t have a warranty if you accidentally drop the amplifier and it broke or accidentally drop the amplifier or radio in a bucket of water. Also if you hook it up wrong, and it goes into protect mode, you cannot use warranty for situations like that.

I never buy extended warranties. If something is gonna die from a defect it's gonna happen soon.
Sad to say... this ^^^ is an accurate statement and jumping thru bureaucratic hoops once something less than $1000 has failed can be a tiresome circus depending on the actual equipment NOT the seller. I'm unfamiliar with any 3rd party sellers warranty because I usually just go the source myself and even then little more than a taillight warranty is expected due to my hard abuse.

Agreed. The warranty business is about selling warranties and dodging providing the actual warranty.
