    Stock wiring or not?

This is true, guess I never thought of that. Now I am using those rear speakers off of headunit power for rear fill, but that would have made my earlier installation simpler. I guess thats why you guys are the experts. Thanks guys!

    Stock wiring or not?

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. And yes, it does have rear deck speakers, why do you ask?

    Stock wiring or not?

Hey guys I am installing a new set of door speakers in my 2000 honda accord. I am thinking of running new wire to the new speakers because they will be running on 55w rms, replacing speakers that were running on roughly 30 watts. The amp is in the trunk and I currently have 14 gauge wire...

    Best Coaxials Under $90?

Ok yeah I think they are more respected in the home audio area. Between the Bostons and the Pioneers, in your opinion which would use the 55watts x2 (4ohms) more efficiently? I am looking for really clean highs and solid mids as I listen to a lot of rock and metal.

    Best Coaxials Under $90?

Ok, I was looking at them as well. I do have an 8inch sub that I am also using, so midbass is not a necessity for me. Did you ever look into the JBL speakers? Such as the P662 or GTO628?

May I ask what speakers you went with?

    Best Coaxials Under $90?

Ok, both of these options are interesting but I have to ask, would the 55 watts that my amp could provide be enough for the 80-90 watts RMS these speakers can handle?

    Best Coaxials Under $90?

So I am in the market for upgrading my front door speakers in my honda accord. I am currently running a JL audio W3 8" sub in the trunk and cheap ($30) pioneer 2 way speakers in the front. They only handle around 30 watts RMS at 4 ohm, and my amp can put out 55 watts per channel at 4 ohms. I...

    Peculiar Installation Problem

Ok, are you referring to the front speaker wires from the wiring harness? the ones that are not being used? The amp is getting its signal from two pairs of RCA's from the headunit, which is an aftermarked pioneer unit. No LOC has ever been used.

    Peculiar Installation Problem

Hello, I had a post a few weeks back related to this issue that I never solved, and the problem changed drastically from the original post, so I decided to start a new one. I recently installed an 8inch sub in my car. I have a 4 channel Hifonics amp that is now powering my door speakers...

Installation help on 4 channel amp with sub/speakers

I turned the front speakers gain down and it caused to noticeable difference in the crackling noise. I turned it completely down so I couldn't hear anything from the front speakers and got the same crackling noise from the rear. For your second suggestion, how would that be tested or fixed?

Installation help on 4 channel amp with sub/speakers

I tried the pico fuse fix of grounding the RCA's and that seemed like it helped a little, but not much. But here is some new info.. When I tried fading the sound to the rear so I could only hear the troubled speakers.. they sounded fine. but as soon as I return the fade close to equal, they...
