there the same price, which is why it confuses me. I would thought the premier would use higher quality parts. The reason i ask is the 780 is 275 and the pioneer is only 176 with my friends bestbuy discount. I really want the premier, but if there the same thing i could save 100 bucks.

is there any difference between models? the specs between the 7800 and 780 or the same.

alpine cda-9847 or kenwood kdc-mp528?

Clarion 745mp was one of my first decks, it was a great deck. Played all my burned and eff-ed up cds with no problem, SQ and built quality is on par with eclipse. I actually perfer that clarion model to a eclipse cd5444. you got a great deck and a good price, the deck is def. worth alot more.
