Is the DPX11551 pretty much the same as the older version? I am wondering if it is as efficient as most class D amp, as Clarion suggests using a big 200A fuse!

I know there is a thread below where this amp was recommended. I am hoping to hear from someone who has or has heard this amp and their opinion, specifically if it produces the rated power cleanly. Thanks.

DD it is then. Will likely get the 3512 rather than 2512 as it doesn't cost much more. The amp will put out 1200w at 12v, and 1500w at 14v. I do know that the 3512 will take more, but is there really any point in giving it much more than its rated power, which is 1200w?

Which one of these is better for output and sound qualityfrom 1200w? The RE recommmends 2.0cft compare with DD's 2.5 for a ported box. Is the RE's recommendation to be trusted? I have read about the RE XXX's box recommndation being far too small. Thanks
