I have my 2000 explorer that has a 125.2 sundown amp waiting for a pair of ID 6.5" components. The only problem is my explorer has stock 6x8 speakers so I need someone who knows how to handle that. The amp is already bolted down and the wires are run, all I need to to do is get these speakers...

forgot to mention this does not use the "U" shaped tools. It has the premium stock system with 6 cd changer and stock sub. It looks like I may just need to pry it, but dont want to risk doing the wrong thing. Thanks!

What tools are used to cut a template for a 6.5" woofer (ID CTX65cs) to be placed in a 6x8 hole in my explorer? What kind of wood should I be using? Is there a certain "way" to go about doing it or do I just start cutting until the new mid fits the template? thanks.... had these laying around...

i picked up some #6 wood screws that look like they will fit. but now I cant find the allen wrench to go about connecting my power/ground to my kicker zx750.1..... lol. I feel like an idiot but every allen wrench is either too big or too small, anybody know the size? I couldnt find anything...

I have a 15" fi Q I am putting back into my explorer, and have a few simple easy questions. I forgot what screws I used the first time (for mounting the sub to the box) - Can I use 6x1 5/8 coarse thread drywall screws? and secondly, should I screw them into the same spots they were before? or...

Is it worth switching from aluminum to copper? I heard somewhere that aluminum is like half as conductive as copper. Is that true? I've been looking around lately but can't find any 2 gauge copper which is the most my amp will take.
