ok well i have an Apline 9815 and it is XM ready....the only thing is i want sirius radio but i want to be able to control it through my head unit...i dont want an extra unit lying around my truck so basically is there anyway i can receive sirius through my head unit if it is set up for xm?

well basically i dont know much about car audio at all...but i am going to explain what i want and hopefully you guys can help me out... i have an Alpine CDA-9815 that i will be using for the deck.... my friend gave me a box and amp a while ago that i want to use....the only thing is i do not...

the speakers are 2-60 watts RMS the internal amp in my hu is 60x4...this wouldnt be enough to power them?

what amp would u recommend if i was going to get those speakers?

well thats 299 from crutchfield....i can get them for a little under $150....but what i want to know is if my alpine 9815 will power them? and should i get a set for the back or no

ya for the 9815 you can go to their web site (or used to be able to) and download EQ settings and then burn them to a CD...you would put the cd into the hu and then press a sequence of buttons to DL and save it into the hu
