Any sure fire way of testing polarity on the wires coming out of a head unit? I'm using my stock head unit and other than knowing the wire color codes is there any way to use say an oscilloscope or some other means of testing which wire is positive and which is negative?

Would this be better Kenwood KAC-5204 to power 1 Kicker 10C104

I know pyramid is crap. I know it's not gonna do 1000w. All I want is 100-150w RMS for a single kicker 10" and that should do it, so I figured it would do the job. I don't want to spend alot, and I don't want to rattle the car. Just a little extra added bass.

I'm looking at getting this Pyramid PB717X 1,000-Watt 2-Channel Bridgeable Amplifier amp. I know, it's not 1000 watts, I'm just getting it to power 1 10" kicker sub. Would 10 gauge be big enough? *sorry I tried to post a link to amazon but it wouldn't let me.

Just a quick question. If you add a line level converter to a factor 4 speaker deck, so you can run a sub, do you tap into the existing speaker lines? If so wouldn't that change the impedance of the output and potentially cause the head unit to put out more power than its rated for? Or do these...
