Well I just kinda figured that Older Amps wouldn't be able to produce enough power or the correct frequencies to power modern speakers correctly, and stuff like that.

Oh yes but I am wondering why so many people like the newer speakers and subs and yet the older amplifiers. Wouldn't there be compatibility problems, power issues, or wiring issues?

Well CrutchField Audio (Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, LCD TV, Digital Cameras), they recommend that I use the silver wiring over the Copper. They say it's much more conductive, and provides much clearer sound. What do you guys think? True, or a sales pitch?
