Just got the 8019 installed in my mustang a little over a week ago along with the Navigation! Its an awesome HU. Sound quality is great! You definitely won't regret your purchase!

A new candidate has emerged in my search... The Kenwood DNX-7100 http://www.kenwoodusa.com/products/ListProduct.aspx?k1=2&k2=38&k3=149&pr=2761 I think the unit is basically a DDX-7019 w/ the navigation built directly into the HU instead of being external. The only apparent minuses...

At the site I'm thinking about buying one of these amps from...the price difference is only $40.

Find a 500-600W RMS @ 4ohms Mono (1-Channel) Amp. A good place to research would be http://www.Crutchfield.com. Equipment is generally more expensive there than other places online and sometimes local but their support is second to none.
