The thing is though, I have no idea what any audio adjustments on my headunit does. i have a 16 band equilizer. I just want to get a good start and maybe the tuner can teach me a little. I also have a bunch of settings on my amps and I really don't know which way to go for a better sound. Up on...

Will do. Ya, I took your advice and lowered both gains all the way down. Turned the HU volume up to about 75% and slowly cranked up the gain on the component amp until it didn't sound right or distorted. Same with the subwoofer. I noticed that my adjustments made the sub hit a lot cleaner now...

I will start playing with that and see what I can find in the manual any suggestions on how I should set each band??
