I want to get a 4-Channel Amp for my speakers, but my current head unit only has one preamp output. Is there a way I could install the amp without needing more preamp outputs? If so, how would I do it?

That is most likely the amp that I will get, however I will have to get a new HU at the same time because I don't have the correct amount of outputs on my current one. This one seems like a good one (Alpine CDE-147BT CD receiver at Crutchfield.com)

I'm new to the whole amps for speakers thing. What would be a good amp to match 4 of the speakers I purchased? Also, will the amp make them sound better or just make them louder?

I might wait and upgrade to the Type-R's eventually before I get a separate amp for the speakers themselves

I just installed them today and they sound magnificent! I'm definitely going to invest in a 4 channel amp within the near future for them.

I recently purchased some Alpine SPS-517 speakers and I was wondering what other owners of them thought? The reviews were pretty spectacular. Also, would they benefit a good amount from getting a separate amp for them or is the head unit sufficient?
