yea you will hear an increase in sound...........but it won't be twice as loud haha 6 db's isn't twice as loud...........its........well 6 db's louder

its a good amp, i have it on 2 8" w7's............it will do twice the power.....but it won't be twice as loud........there is a point of deminishing returns when it comes to sound
