I have 12 inch alpine type r in minivan. It sounds good when i sit in front but if you sit on the back seat then the bass overpowers songs and basically all you hear is the subwoofer playing. Is it problem in every car or just mine. What should i do to fix it? Thanks

it is a crack if i press on it then it sinks in, and should i smear goop all over the crack or just put it on the crack and not smear it and leave it spatial.

did you also have type r, because the cone is made of strange plastic material and im not sure how well the goop will hold.

I have a little crack on the plastic cone. It plays the same as it did without crack so do i have to fix it somehow or can i let it be. I dont listen to music very loud if it makes any difference. pics of crack https://imgur.com/a/MdSc2 Thanks

Here is a pic of the amp settings. https://imgur.com/a/IElLu Low pass filter is somewhere around 100hz and hpf and bass boost are 0. Gain is 50%. I have tried changing lpf and gain in many different positions but still couldnt get this bass line to sound.

I have alpine type r 12 inch subwoofer in sealed box. Before it was in ported box but the bass was too muddy and overpowered songs so i changed it to sealed and now it souns clearer. The problem is that it doesnt play the bass that is in the background in songs. I dont know how to explain it...
