    Need advice on rear fill

I guess I was too used to the factory setup. The comps sound amazing and I'm getting used to just hearing it all up front.

    Need advice on rear fill

I just had my pg rsd comps installed and coax's in the rear doors. I was told here by a few members to bridge my zx350.4 to the comps and run the rears off the HU. The comps sound amazing, but hear nothing at all in the rear. I can turn the fader waaaay back to the rear and and then blast the...

Phoenix Gold RSD's... BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

Did you run them at lower power before you bridged them? If so, how much better did it sound at 130 watts?

Phoenix Gold RSD's... BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

The guy at audiosaving.com told me today that they had them in stock and I would have them in cali by end of next week. Should I call him on it?

Phoenix Gold RSD's... BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

sigh...I'm so torn as to what to do. Maybe I'll just keep the factory rears powered by the HU and get a good 2ch amp for the comps. How important is sound deadening?

Phoenix Gold RSD's... BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

I thought it would be nice to have good sq in the rear also, but I dunno anything about this stuff so I'm just going off what I learn here. Should I just play it safe and get the zx650.4 to power all four? If I decide I want to get a sub later, I could just power the rear off the hu and use...

Phoenix Gold RSD's... BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

Thats what I figured. He made me think that the zx 350.4 powering all 4 speakers would sound better than bridging it all up front. So now I need to decide wether to get the zx550.2 or just bridge the zx350.4. Thanks for all the input tcguy85, I've learned alot from reading your posts in my...

Phoenix Gold RSD's... BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

so I called to change my order from a kicker zx 350.4 to a 650.4 to power the rsd comps up front and coax's in the back. The guy at audiosavings.com told me that it might be too much power since they are only rated at 60 watts and that I should stick with the 350.4. Is he way off?

    question about 4ch amps

Need to power some comps and considering adding one sub later. So 2 of those channels will power the comps and is it possible to bridge the other 2 channels for the sub? Thanks!

    pg rsds

Looks like my order has not shipped yet, so I can easily upgrade the amp. Looking at the kicker zx650.4 to power all 4. Or is it useless to run that power to the rear? Sorry for all the noob questions.

    pg rsds

Thanks for the great advice tcguy85. Now I'm wondering if I should return the 4channel for a higher rated 2ch amp. Would it be worth the hassle? I'm not running a sub and just wanted a simple upgrade from my factory speakers, but if it will make a big difference, I'm willing to do it right.

    pg rsds

Thats great advice guys! I never thought of doing that. So this is definately the way to do it? I thought the extra bass in the rear would help.

    pg rsds

I just ordered the pg rds comps and coax's from audiosavings also. I also ordered a kicker 350.4 to power the comps up front and coax's in the rear. I see that some of you are pushing alot more power...did I make a mistake? I'm just looking for a nice upgrade from my crappy factory speakers...
