I have +4 bass out of 10 and -3 treble out of 10 in the hu eq, maybe that would also be the cause.

Cant use the scope because the amp is plug and play. Can only set it up by ear. Will I hurt the speakers by playing a 1000hz tone at 75% volume while setting the gain?

Currently my amp gain is around 1-2 o clock and my speakers still sound good without clipping. Which is the maximum gain I should safely go? Havent tried higher yet because I listened enough for today to the 1000hz tone. Also tested with music too and no clipping/distortion.

Hello guys, soon I will mount a vibe powerbox 65.4m amp in my car, which is a class D amp and its plug & play type. My question is, since its a more efficient class D amp (hence making less heat), will it run cool enough by staying in the glovebox? The glovebox also has a vent from the ac.

The car is from 2007 and it has 115.000km, also the battery was changed almost 2 years ago. After 1-2 years I will change the car with a new one so hopefully nothing goes bad until then :)
