I have a set of tens (10w3v2) in a custom fiberglass box in my 04 Dodge Ram Cummins. They are powered with a JL 500/1. I was wondering if the Pioneer 12" shallow subs would take more power, sound any better, hit harder than my JL 10's. The box is roughly .75 with sub installed. Ideas ?

I did get a hold of JL. They need original proof of purchase which i do not have. They also want 241 US to change all the cosmetic pieces which i would pay if i had a receipt. So i can only look for a junked one for parts.
