Why not just call JL and see what they can do, I'm sure they will fix it for you, or send you a new fin.

I did get a hold of JL. They need original proof of purchase which i do not have. They also want 241 US to change all the cosmetic pieces which i would pay if i had a receipt. So i can only look for a junked one for parts.
