so even if the amp is getting 12v power, but not putting anything out, thats OK ? should i at least pull the fuse on the amp for safe measure? I normally would have pulled the power wire from the terminal block, but thats hidden under the seat which is bolted down so i'm trying to do the...

hey guys im goin on a trip and need to make room in the trunk. when i remove the subs, (but im leaving the amp) is it sufficient to just remove the fuse from the amp? or should i actually unplug the power cable from the terminal block??? and disconnect remote wire?

In the 97-00 QX4's, the crossovers are in the doors AFTER the amp. Heres my 99 QX4 door taken apart, ignore the JBL speaker (thats definitely not bose) but look at the Bose crossover next to it. I can't say anything for 01-04 (WOT?) because ive never taken those years apart.
