I have a jvc head unit had it for about 3 years lately I have noticed it starts to sound like crap after playing for a couple minets when I first turn it on it sounds fine but 2-3 minets later it sounds like crap the volume sounds like it's been turnd down if i turn it up it just gets worse but...

If your running them off just HU and its not providing the proper amount of power then running the speakers off an amp will probably help

For the price i might pick a pair of these up and see what happens

i have two RE SE's in my car right now and they have done well for me so i thought i would go with RE again when i retire the SE's this spring but i am open to suggestions if they are close to price to the RE's

i want to get 2 re audio mt's or 2 xxx iv'e read the xxx are good for lows but not so grate on highs i listen to mostly metal and don't think the double bass will hit very well on the xxx how do the mt's perform through the frequency range would they be better for the music listen to
