Would a 9.1 be a good choice for my two 15"s? The rms for these subs is 750 a piece or someone on here told me 1000 for two...I thought that this amp would probably be a good choice....also...does anyone know what the true output of one of these is since I'm sure it puts out more than what they...

I would put the port on the bottom but I read on JL Audio's port site that the port width and the height should have a ratio of no more than 9 to 1 to avoid a mistuning or something....Also....I was reading on George's ported design thread that he usually uses 60 to 80 in^2 for the port...

Is there any danger in mounting subwoofers too close to eachother...or even too close to the enclosure wall? The reason I ask is because I'm trying to build a box for my two fifteens and my max dimensions are leaving me with little choice but to mount the subwoofers close to eachother and over...

Okay....so let's say for a blazer....I would build the box....then cover it with a huge piece of wood to make it look like the floor...and the false floor would just end up lookin like one huge box anyways cause you would have to extend a piece to the floor so you couldn't see underneath it

How exactly are false floors made? I was considering doing this as an install option instead of a box for my blazer. Thanks in advance.

Is there any possible side effects from running an amplifier at 1 ohm? Also....my subs are Alpine Type R 15"s...the 2 ohm models.....Are they 1 ohm stable?

Any Suggestions? The amps I currently have in mind are the BX1500D and the Alpine MRD-M1001...Anything better in that price range? 250 shipped to bout 375 shipped...Thanks in Advance.

Is there a drawback to having too much airspace in a sealed subwoofer box besides maybe a sloppy sound? Reason I am asking is because I made a box for two fifteens that is sealed and has 5.6 cubes of air before woofer displacement.

I built a box for two 15"s here awhile back and I am just now getting around to putting subs into it. I ended up gettin the '05 Type R's. So my question is....if I put the subs in this box...with two seperate sealed chambers of 5.6 cubes of air before subwoofer displacement....will I risk...
