Nine.1 for two Alpine Type R's

Would a 9.1 be a good choice for my two 15"s? The rms for these subs is 750 a piece or someone on here told me 1000 for two...I thought that this amp would probably be a good choice....also...does anyone know what the true output of one of these is since I'm sure it puts out more than what they...

    Question on Box for 15"s

I would put the port on the bottom but I read on JL Audio's port site that the port width and the height should have a ratio of no more than 9 to 1 to avoid a mistuning or something....Also....I was reading on George's ported design thread that he usually uses 60 to 80 in^2 for the port...

    Subs too close?

Is there any danger in mounting subwoofers too close to eachother...or even too close to the enclosure wall? The reason I ask is because I'm trying to build a box for my two fifteens and my max dimensions are leaving me with little choice but to mount the subwoofers close to eachother and over...

    Question on Box for 15"s

I am probably going to build a box that is 38" wide for two 15"s...I was wanting to make the chambers completely seperate with their own respective ports....I don't know if I'm being an idiot but I can't figure out if there will be enough room for a port on the side or not...My reasoning is that...

    False Floors

Yah...that looks nice...I am thinkin that I want a false floor also...cept I want my subwoofers to be below the floor and pointing upwards...not sure how hard that would be...I've seen it plenty of times in car trunks...but I don't recall seeing it in an SUV...Also...how in the world did you get...

Yet another Help Thread for a ported Box

Okay...I just got done doing the huge port formula and came up with an off the wall number so here goes my situation.....I'm building a ported box....The external dimensions would be 38" by 38" by 15". This would make the internal dimensions 36.5" by 36.5" by 13.5". I want the box to have an...

    False Floors

Okay....so let's say for a blazer....I would build the box....then cover it with a huge piece of wood to make it look like the floor...and the false floor would just end up lookin like one huge box anyways cause you would have to extend a piece to the floor so you couldn't see underneath it

    False Floors

How exactly are false floors made? I was considering doing this as an install option instead of a box for my blazer. Thanks in advance.

    15" Subwoofer Boxes

I'm just trying to get an idea for a box since I will soon start a ported box for my two Type R's....I was just wanting to see some pictures of everyone else's boxes just to get an idea of what I might like....thanks in advance.

    Too much airspace?

Oh sorry, I am using the 05 Type R 15"s.

    Too much airspace?

Is there a drawback to having too much airspace in a sealed subwoofer box besides maybe a sloppy sound? Reason I am asking is because I made a box for two fifteens that is sealed and has 5.6 cubes of air before woofer displacement.

    Box too big?

I built a box for two 15"s here awhile back and I am just now getting around to putting subs into it. I ended up gettin the '05 Type R's. So my question is....if I put the subs in this box...with two seperate sealed chambers of 5.6 cubes of air before subwoofer displacement....will I risk...
