I am still confused as to whether or not I should mount my amp on the box.

I really think that would depend on the amp. This particular amp is a very well-made heavy duty amp. I was planning on mounting it on the back seat of my toyota 4runner but the only thing to mount it to was some weak *** holey wood that wouldn't support the weight. What should I do??

I am worried about my speaker hitting so hard that it breaks the box.

I have a fairly large amp and I would like to mount it on top the box. Is that a good idea or will screwing into the box make it weaker and possibly lead to breakage?? I am going to be pushing a lot of power through this thing.
