gain setting, underpowering & parallel wiring

firstly, I have a 70w component pair, a 60w coaxial pair, and a 2 channel amp that should have no trouble powering them all. Being that they have different but similar rms ratings would it still be ok to put them in parallel? would i set the gain as if it were 2 60w on each channel or do normal...

Feel like I’m missing out on bass

i'm by no means an expert or anything even approaching/approximating that, but i would definitely imagine a HO alternator would help alot, and actually make use of your big 3 & 1/0. However (and i could be wrong here), isn't clipping when you're feeding too much power to the speaker and the sign...

2 fuses on a mono amp?

I think Im just gonna use 8awg grounds, probably bigger at the battery end though. For what I have having the amps linking into a common ground Would just be unnecessarily complicating things 😋

2 fuses on a mono amp?

Thankyou very much for sharing your knowledge! decided on a 200A fuse. Using 1/0 awg that says its max is 345, but I shoudlnt be pulling anywhere near 200 anyway so meh 😋

2 fuses on a mono amp?

The first amp I got was a 2 channel (Edge EDA350.2-E7) and it has 2×30A fuses on it, which made sense to me bc it's a 2 channel right? But I've just got a mono amp (Kenwood X501-1) which has 2×30A fuses too. Why would they not just use a single 40A or 60A? In the manual it says its current...

    Steering wheel controls

I know there's a remote turn on wire, that one is blue. the mic jack is #3 , the wired remote input is #8(if it was a remote for an amp it'd be an output right?). I have read all the things :[

    Steering wheel controls

I've bought a steering wheel control adapter and for the remote wire it has an uncrimped connector, and a connector plug which is unfamiliar to me(pictured). My headunit (pioneer DEH-S510BT) has a 3.5mm jack remote input. Ive tried finding an adapter between the two but have come up short and am...

In looking up the specs for some subs that were given to me, I've learned they allegedly have a frequency responce of 21hz-3khz.

Thankyou! good way to put it. Although my fronts are aftermarket, they're nothing special. Gonna upgrade after i get a new headunit 😊

In looking up the specs for some subs that were given to me, I've learned they allegedly have a frequency responce of 21hz-3khz.

Thankyou Thankyou for the info and advice :) i think a 5 channel is abit out of my price range hehe. I got a 2 channel (pictured) with the intention of using it for them, but after researching ive found people seem to recommend a class D for subs bc of the power efficiency. So i think im gonna...

https://www.fusionentertainment.com/legacy/products/subwoofers/en-sw120/specs This is what i believe them to be. I intend to put them in a sealed box. Thankyou! Im just trying to be safe and not sorry. After i get them installed I'll give it a play and see what sounds best ^-^

In looking up the specs for some subs that were given to me, I've learned they allegedly have a frequency responce of 21hz-3khz.

This freqency responce seems high to me for 12" subs. If i have the right spec sheet (90~95% sure), they're 150w rms, 300 peak. I know they're 4 ohm since ive measured them w/ multimeter. Im pretty much a noob to car audio So giving asmuch info as possible incase it's relevant, sorry if it's...
