Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M

Giving subs more power really wakes them up. The MRP-500 is pretty low power. You would really notice more authority in your bass.

How much room do you have for the box? Do you know how big of a box each sub wants? Do you have an amplifier already? Do you have electrical upgraded to power a big amplifier?

Wait on any electrical upgrades until you get a good idea of what your voltage is doing. That tells you everything. Basically you want it to stay above 13.0 volts. When you are really jammin', that's when your voltage can dip down low.

What does your voltage look like now? How low does it go when you are jammin'?

The belt might be slipping when the alternator gets loaded up and you wouldn't hear a thing because your audio is full tilt.

How big of a box will you build for it? That has to be a major concern considering the space constraints of a Camaro.

I was under the impression bass knob clip lights were fairly accurate. BigDWiz's test of JP23 showed clip light was in agreement with the amp dyno clip light. Anyone know the technology behind clip light and what turns it on?
