    The wire off the coil to the terminal has seen to blown off somehow. How it happened I dont know? The sub is a JL 10w3v3. 2ohm version. The amp was a TMA 500X1. My setup was at 2ohms, amp was turned halfway up. The sub should be able to handle 500 fine, and I was nowhere near there estimated...

    tried everything you guys mentioned. problem still persists. solution? I went ahead and ordered a JL slash amp. If anyone is willing to pay for shipping they can have this amp before I break it in a million peices in rage.

    The redlight still stays on the amp. If the ground was bad wouldnt there be no light? Im still at work so i cant check it yet...

    Its an SVC 2ohm so i believe I am limited to only running a 2ohm load. I understand that 2ohm runs hotter but I have the level set very conservatively and touching the amp its still cool and it was on at 6am with a outside temp of 70 degrees

    &*^@&*^!&*@^ this shit is pissing me off...story I have a 1 week old TMA 500.1 amp pushin a 10w3v3. I got the 2ohm sub so its runnin a 2ohm load. Its hooked up with 4awg wiring all around, and levels, xover, and bass boost are set a little under the mid point. Heres the problem...

    its a dual 6ohm http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_id=2896 so in order to run it at 3ohms, I would have to wire it in parralell?

    I accidently bought a 3/6ohm DVC JL Audio 10w3 on accident. My amp is setup right now for a 2ohm load, or a 4 ohm. My question is, would it better to run it at 2ohms or 4 ohms? the pushes 300.1 at 2 ohms and 150.1 at 4ohms
