i am currently running 2 12 mtx terminators powered by a directed 600d. I am looking to upgrade a bit. i feel like the subs are underpowered. I am currently running 8 guage wire also. if i upgrade to an amp pushing out 800 watts or even 1000 watts do I need to rewire with 4 gauge wire?

I found a pair of type s 12" subs on craigslist and havent been able to find too much feedback on these subs. are they any good? should i buy these subs boxed with an amp (600 rms kenwood) for $200? the box and amp i have now are lousy and im looking for a good upgrade, i dont mind spending...

i just got a pair of type r subs and wired them to the mtx terminator amp and OH BOY!!!!!!!!!! when i first turned them on i didnt realize the gain was all the way up and the subs hit so hard that the muffler dropped right off my car. NOT KIDDDING EITHER!
