    Sonotube

You would have to go to a concrete materials supply store. Home Depot and Lowes usually only carry up to 8 inches in diameter. Go to the sonotube website to see the different diameters that are actually available.

Anyone ever used sonotube for an enclosure? If so, did it work well?

    Peel n Seal

no fumes, no heat gun, and I did virtually no prep either. I have had two layers on both doors for nearly 6 months now. Had the door panels off a few weeks ago and pulled on the peel and seal, couldnt get that stuff of if I wanted to, stuck really well.

    Power Acoustik PT-76H

Anyone ever seen these? Hows the pic quality? http://salestores1.com/poacpt72inst1.html

    I think Ive done it!

Should be fairly self explanatory. You can figure your volume, tuning frequency, and port length if you know the other variables.

    I think Ive done it!

I did one too a while back in Excel. See the attached file. As far as I can tell mine is right on. You can check yours against it if youd like. port calc.zip

Also, are you looking for SQ or SPL? (SQ tune low, SPL tune high)

does anyone have box plans on auto cad

if you give me the specs (enclosure net volume, tuning frequency) I can put some together in auto cad for ya.

Anyone Want To Help Me With A Box Design?

    area of 4" pipe = (Pi)*(radius^2) = (3.14)*(2^2) = 12.56 in^2 volume of 4" pipe, 10.5" long = (12.56in^2) * (10.5in) = 131.88 in^3 convert cubic inches to cubic feet ---> 131.88/1728 = .076 ft^3

Anyone Want To Help Me With A Box Design?

If you know what frequency and box volume you want to use you still need to have an idea of what size port you want to use (cross sectional area). For instance, with 2.8 ft^3 net box volume, tuned to 30 Hz, using a 4" diameter pvc pipe, the pipe would have to be 10.5" long.

No problem man, glad I could help.

    somethings fishy...

Seems to be accurate to me, unless you feel its important to have better than 1/100th accuracy.

    somethings fishy...

Why is it not 100% accurate?
