I have the alpine 9853 and it is doing the same thing, its only a month old at most. I thought it to be odd for an alpine deck to mess up so quickly but hey you never know. Luckily i can take it back and get a new one installed for free. Good luck to the rest of you with the same problem.

using the i-personalize on the alpine is a pain unless you know about the different frequencies of the speakers and all of that good stuff.

On a German car, everything is a pain in the ass. They don't know how to wire a car for anything! I would take it to a car audio store and have someone else do it for you.
